Course Description
The Level 4 Extended Diploma in Management is a 120 credit size qualification and is the equivalent size and level to the 1st year of a Bachelor’s degree. Learners will take 4 mandatory units worth 60 credits in total and a further 4 or 5 optional units totalling 120 credits.
The primary purpose of this qualification is to develop your knowledge and understanding of the concepts of management and to support your progression to further learning in the area of management at Level 5.
Level 4 Extended Diploma in Management has been designed for learners who wish to develop the skills and knowledge required for roles in junior management. They have also been developed with progression in mind and enable learners to continue on to a range of Bachelors degrees.
This qualifications is approved and regulated by government regulated body Ofqual (Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation) to ensure consistent course quality.

Equivalences
This qualifications at RQF Level 4 represent practical knowledge, skills, capabilities and competences that are assessed in academic terms as being equivalent to
Higher National Certificates (HNC) and Year 1 of a three-year UK Bachelors degree programme.

- The Learners must possess:
● Relevant NQF/QCF/RQF Level 3 Award/Diploma or at the level of GCE/GCSE or any equivalent qualification
or
● Work experience of 2 years or more in case you do not hold any formal qualification
and
● Learner must be 18 years or older at the beginning of the course
